Board of Commissioners
The Commissioners serve five-year terms (unless appointed to fill an unexpired term of a previous member) and they are appointed by the Portland City Council. They meet once a month and vote on various items — policies, budget approvals, etc.
The By-Laws state:
The Commissioners of the Authority shall perform such duties as are incumbent upon them by reason of their appointmenht to any office and by law, and shall perform such other duties and functions as may from time to time be required by the Authority or its By-Laws, or which may arise by reason of their appointment to serve on committees functioning within the Authority or in cooperation with other persons or groups.

The Board of Commissioners meets on a monthly basis. The meeting is held the first Thursday of each month at 5:30pm in our administrative offices at 14 Baxter Boulevard, or such other date/location as shall be designated at a prior meeting of the Board.
The next board meeting is the annual meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Sagamore Village Community Room.
Meeting schedule as follows:
- Board and Staff Introductions: 5:30pm
- Scholarship Awards Presentation: 5:30 to 6:00pm
- Resident Comment: 6:00 to 6:30pm
- Board Meeting: 6:30 to 7:30pm
PHA Finance Committee
The Finance Committee meets on a monthly basis at PHA Administrative Offices, 14 Baxter Boulevard, at 5:30 PM.
The Finance Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Time changed to 6 PM.
