The Portland Housing Authority maintains all of its developments to very high standards and provides maintenance services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergencies are handled within one hour and regular maintenance requests are usually handled within a day or two. If the maintenance need is due to normal wear and tear or is not your fault, you will not be charged for the work. If you, a family member, or guest are responsible for the problem, payment plans can be arranged with the Property Manager assigned to your development. During regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) the number to call is 773-4753. During nights and weekends you should call 774-2815. If the problem is not an emergency and does not pose a threat to health and safety, you should wait until normal business to report it in order to avoid additional charges.
