Notification of Power Interruption on September 17, 2024 was distributed to tenants on September 2nd. Please read the below as a reminder.
Dear Residents of Franklin Towers,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you of a scheduled power interruption on **Tuesday, September 17, 2024**. This interruption is necessary to complete the final phase of work on the building's electrical system, specifically for the activation of the new bus bar system.
As many of you may recall, the original bus bar system was damaged by a lightning strike in 2022. Since then, our team has been diligently working to repair and upgrade the system to ensure the safety and reliability of the building's electrical infrastructure. The upcoming work on September 17th will mark the completion of this extensive project.
**Details of the Power Interruption:**
- **Date:** Tuesday, September 17, 2024
- **Time:** 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- **Duration:** Approximately 8 hours
During this time, the entire building will experience a temporary loss of power. We recommend that you take the necessary precautions, such as:
- Ensuring that any electronic devices are properly shut down before the power interruption.
- Unplugging sensitive electronics to prevent any potential damage.
- Planning accordingly for the lack of electricity, including the use of battery-operated devices if needed.
- Making necessary arrangements for refrigeration, particularly for perishable items.
